It’s a book about how to use college to succeed.
This isn’t a college success book. You know those books that tell you how to make good grades, get into a very selective school, or write that killer entrance essay. This is a book about how to use college to succeed before, during and after you leave the institution(s) of your choice. But it’s also a book about globalization and how it is changing the world around us every day.
Why both of these? Because you can’t use college to succeed in “the real world” unless you know how “the real world works,” and it works today by the rules of globalization. You have to make certain choices in college that will have long-lasting effects on your life. The first section of this book is all about globalization, and it’s a re-occurring thread through the rest of the book.
